Hey, stranger! You guys have probably been what the heck I've been upto these last few months. I was so disappointed to have to go on hiatus for so long, but life had become extremely busy, and I just couldn't keep up with the blog. It made me very sad to leave this blog unattended for weeks on end and not join in on all the amazing events that were probably going on in the blogosphere.
And it makes me sadder that I have to tell you that I have decided to stop blogging from now on.
I'm not going to go into all the various details of it, but I have thought about this really hard, and although I convinced myself about five times NOT to give it up, I finally realised that there is no way I could keep on writing quality posts and keep up with Twitter, Goodreads and my emails (I currently have 125 unopened emails in my inbox!!) when I'm so busy with school and homework and other activities. I don't want to give blogging less than my best, and I can't do that at this time.
That said, it's been an amazing journey so far with you guys. When I started my tiny little blog last year in January, I had no idea I could grow so much and have so much fun with this. The best thing about blogging has been interacting with you guys, and I'm going to miss that. I really wish I didn't have to stop, but maybe somewhere in the future, I might start again! :)
I would like to specially thank Emily, for being one of my oldest blogging buddies,
and my fellow Lankan bloggers, Mish, Nuz, Dash, Gabby, Zena, and most importantly Ruzi, who has never been less than completely fabulous to me.
Thank you also, Jillian, who is amazingly sweet, Kaelyn, my nerd sister (I WISH I could have gotten to know you even better!), the lovely Kate, Geraldine, who I think was an amazing friend, and thank you to everyone who has ever commented on this blog and thought it was worth following.
Thank you, ALL of you, for every bit of support you have shown me. Thanks for all your wonderful comments and supportive tweets and and thank you, most of all, for accepting me and making me a part of this wonderful community.
Lastly, I do have a bit of good news for you guys. I won't be completely disappearing off the face of the Internet. While my use of Twitter might severely decline, I'll definitely be active on Instagram (my username: @araliyabooks) and Goodreads, you guys can follow me there and keep in touch that way!
Thanks again, guys, it has been a pleasure to blog with you.

Welcome, everyone to my first Conversations post! This is a bimonthly meme hosted by the incredible Geraldine @ Coralling Books and Joan @ Fiddler Blue! It's an amazing meme where we all discuss a certain topic presented by our lovely hosts, and I, for one, find it a fabulous idea! Ergo, this post! (And I also strongly urge to you to take part in this too. Who doesn't love discussion prompts?)

I HAD heard a lot of good things about this book, although I haven't read the author's previous works before, so I was very ambivalent when I started.
